Aprilia Racing targets MotoGP world title after Silverstone success

Following a successful weekend at the Silverstone Grand Prix, Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola has reaffirmed the manufacturer's ambition to pursue the 2026 MotoGP world title.

Raúl Fernández secured a victory for the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team, marking the fourth time this season that an Aprilia rider has won a Grand Prix. This achievement follows previous wins by Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martín, and Ai Ogura, ensuring that every permanent Aprilia rider has secured at least one victory this season.

Rivola praised the team's performance and specifically highlighted the resilience of Marco Bezzecchi, who delivered a strong performance despite facing physical difficulties on Sunday morning. While acknowledging that the second half of the season will remain challenging, Rivola expressed confidence in the team's momentum and the competitive strength of their machinery.
