Aprilia SXR 175 maxi scooter expected to launch in India

Aprilia is expected to launch the SXR 175 hp. e maxi scooter in India as early as September 2026. Unlike the sporty SR 175 hp. e, the upcoming SXR model will utilize a maxi scooter design language, featuring a more practical step-through design with a flat floorboard.

The vehicle is anticipated to share design aesthetics with the SXR 125 and SXR 160, potentially including a tall windshield, LED lighting, and a single-piece stepped seat. Technical expectations include the use of 12-inch alloy wheels and a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. It is positioned to compete with models such as the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160, and the upcoming Honda ADV 160.
