Aprimora and Mesa Educacional Named to Global EdTech Prize 2026

Two Brazilian education‑technology solutions developed by the Educacional unit of Positivo Tecnologia have been selected for the Top 25 of the Global EdTech Prize 2026. The adaptive, gamified platform Aprimora focuses on Portuguese language and mathematics, using AI to tailor learning paths and offering a digital tutor named M.A.R.I.A. The Mesa Educacional solution transforms early‑grade learning into a practical, collaborative experience by integrating physical and digital resources.

Alex Paiva, head of Products at Educacional, said the selection shows that Brazilian ed‑tech can address challenges common to schools worldwide. The prize, organized by T4 Education with support from Owl Ventures and Digital Promise, evaluates products across majors, startups and non‑profits, with educators directly involved in the judging process.
