APSILEF and OPO Ragusa launch legal consultancy for midwives

The Italian Association of Legal and Forensic Health Professions (APSILEF) has signed a new agreement with the Order of Midwifery Professions (OPO) of Ragusa. This partnership establishes a specialized Legal and Forensic Midwifery Consultancy Desk to support midwives in their professional duties.

The service aims to address the increasing legal and forensic complexities of the midwifery profession. It provides guidance on legal and disciplinary matters, clinical risk and documentation management, operational tools for professional rights, and ongoing training regarding medico-legal aspects and workplace safety. The desk will be managed by forensic midwives Dr. Lucia Pecci and Dr. Annalucia Lozzi.
