APTRA prepares for inaugural Martín Fierro de la Música awards

Preparations are underway for the inaugural Martín Fierro de la Música awards, organized by APTRA. The ceremony is scheduled for October 14 and will be broadcast on the El Nueve network.

Potential hosts for the event include musical icon La Sole, though her busy schedule presents a logistical challenge, and television presenter Hernán Dragon, who is considered due to his connection with the broadcasting channel. Negotiations for the hosting duo are currently ongoing.

Separately, a conflict has emerged between journalist Marcelo Polino and APTRA. Following Polino's request for an investigation into alleged irregularities, APTRA submitted a 17-page response to the General Inspection of Justice (IGJ). The association has requested that the IGJ dismiss the complaint, labeling it as “malintencionada” (ill-intentioned). Inspectors recently visited APTRA to review documentation, and reports indicate they were satisfied with the information provided by the association's legal counsel.
