Apucarana bar disturbance involves physical intervention and police response
A 48-year-old man caused a significant disturbance at a bar in downtown Apucarana, Paraná, on Saturday night. According to the Military Police, the intoxicated individual began insulting staff and patrons before throwing tables, chairs, and bottles throughout the establishment.
To prevent further damage and attacks, the bar owner and several customers physically intervened to restrain the man. During the struggle, the individual sustained an injury to his right eye. He received first aid from the Emergency Mobile Care Service (Samu) and was transported by ambulance to Hospital da Providência.
By the time police arrived at the scene on Rua Doutor Oswaldo Cruz, many participants in the altercation had already left. Officers recorded statements from the witnesses remaining on-site and provided guidance regarding legal procedures.
