Apucarana car accident leaves three people injured

A collision between a Chevrolet Onix and a Ford Ka left three people injured on Monday afternoon on Avenida Minas Gerais, an extension of the BR-376, in Apucarana. The accident occurred near the access point to Núcleo Michel Soni on the route toward Curitiba.

The victims include the driver of the Chevrolet Onix and two occupants of the Ford Ka. One passenger in the Ford Ka was trapped in the wreckage due to severe side-impact deformation, requiring firefighters from Siate to use cutting tools to extricate her.

Emergency teams from Samu and Siate provided initial medical assistance before transporting the injured to a hospital for evaluation. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) attended the scene to manage traffic and record the occurrence. The causes of the collision are under investigation.
