Apucarana Cathedral resumes services in crypt after storm damage

The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes in Apucarana, Brazil, has announced the resumption of religious services following structural damage caused by a severe storm on Monday, September 21.

The storm resulted in roof damage and water infiltration in the cathedral's main nave. As a safety precaution and to allow ongoing repair work to proceed, the main area will remain closed to the public until repairs are finished.

Starting Thursday, September 24, liturgical activities will be held temporarily in the Diocesan Crypt, located in the cathedral's basement. The schedule includes Holy Mass at 7:00, 12:00, and 18:15, and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:00 to 17:30.
