Apucarana domestic dispute involves financial fraud and knife threats

A violent domestic dispute in the Pirapó district of Apucarana led to police intervention on Saturday night. The conflict began after a man discovered his partner had used his phone to take out bank loans in his name, transferring the funds to her personal account.

During the confrontation, the woman, who is two months pregnant, allegedly attacked her partner with a broomstick. The man responded by striking her back until the object broke. The woman then reportedly threatened her husband with two kitchen knives.

Three children, aged 2, 4, and 9, witnessed the altercation and were removed from the home by a godfather to ensure their safety. The pregnant woman was taken to a local emergency care unit for medical evaluation before being presented to authorities at the police station.
