Apucarana driver robbed at knifepoint during ride

A 24-year-old ride-hailing driver was robbed at knifepoint in Apucarana, Paraná, on Friday morning. Security footage from inside the vehicle captured the moment a passenger held a knife to the driver's neck during a trip near the Schmidt Dam.

The assailant, who was traveling with a woman and another individual, attempted to strangle the driver while demanding a work cellphone. The driver managed to maneuver the vehicle to stop in front of another car, allowing him to escape the vehicle. He sustained only a minor injury to his mouth and has since returned to work.
