Apucarana sends 21 athletes to Karate Championship finals
A delegation from Apucarana, consisting of 21 athletes and three professionals, is participating in the final stage of the Paranaense Interestilos Karate Championship in Cascavel. The competition has reached a record 751 registered participants from across the state of Paraná.
The athletes are part of the 'Desperta do Samurai' social project, which currently serves 45 children and adolescents. The project is led by instructor Alan Pereira and receives logistical support from the Apucarana Municipal Secretariat of Sports. Mayor Rodolfo Mota noted that the initiative is part of a broader effort to foster new athletic talents within the municipality.
