APUCORP plans US$ 1,000 million investment in Peru mining by 2030

APUCORP has announced an expansion plan aiming to invest US$ 1,000 million by 2030. The group intends to consolidate four gold and silver operations in production, with a goal of exceeding 400,000 annual ounces of gold.

As part of this growth, the company expects to increase its workforce from approximately 17,000 to 30,000 employees. The expansion is anchored by the Crespo Mining Unit in Llusco, which reached commercial production in February 2026 following an initial investment of US$ 150 million.

In addition to industrial growth, APUCORP is implementing social and infrastructure projects, including a S/ 500 million initiative for works through taxes. This includes a wastewater treatment plant in Chumbivilcas and S/ 150 million in social investments focused on education, health, and sanitation.
