Venezuela implements regional infrastructure and social development projects
Various regional development and social initiatives are being implemented across Venezuela. In Apure, Minister of Communes Ángel Prado announced an investment of nearly $400,000 for community projects, focusing on electrification and water networks in several communes. Additionally, Governor Wilmer Rodríguez has established a high-level livestock committee to boost agricultural production through a partnership between the government, academia, and producers. Authorities in Apure are also working on renewing leadership within 500 communal councils.
In Aragua, a military-style bridge has arrived in the El Pao sector to restore road connectivity between Aragua and Guárico following a previous structure collapse caused by heavy rains. Meanwhile, in Sucre, the Plan Cayapa Heroica has successfully rehabilitated medical and educational equipment, including digital ultrasound machines and laptops. In Guárico, the municipality of Juan Germán Roscio Nieves is implementing the ‘Mi abuela y abuelo vitamina’ plan to provide benefits and attention to senior citizens.
