Aqarios and q. beyond secure new industrial technology contracts

Aqarios Quantum Technologies AG has been commissioned by Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG to conduct a proof of concept in quantum optimization. The project utilizes Luna, Aqarios’ hardware-agnostic optimization platform, to evaluate the potential of quantum computing for industrial optimization tasks such as production planning, supply chain management, and shift scheduling.

Separately, IT service provider q. beyond has secured a transformation mandate from pet food manufacturer Vitakraft. Vitakraft has selected q. beyond as a consulting, implementation, and licensing partner for its migration to SAP S/4HANA. The project will follow a Brownfield migration approach under the SAP RISE cloud program, utilizing the STACKIT cloud provider to ensure data sovereignty within Germany. The upgrade aims to automate processes in purchasing, sales, and finance while improving data transparency.
