Aqriba: Israeli forces kill man during house siege near Nablus

Israeli military forces killed Abdul Karim Bani Jaber during a siege on a home in the town of Aqriba, south of Nablus in the West Bank. According to local reports, the military surrounded a house in the Al-Dairiya area early Tuesday, demanding that an individual inside surrender and threatening to demolish the structure.

Witnesses reported intense gunfire and two explosions within the besieged house. The military subsequently deployed a bulldozer and fired an ‘Energa’ shell at the building before announcing Bani Jaber's death. The military has reportedly detained his body.

In related developments in the Nablus governorate, Israeli forces conducted raids in the town of Qabalan, detaining over 25 Palestinians, including the mayor. In Huwara, businesses were forced to close following a military incursion. Additionally, settlers reportedly attacked residents in the Al-Masoudiya area near Burqa, resulting in injuries to a man and his son.
