The Under-16 Women's Brazilian Interclub Water Polo Championship is currently taking place in Bauru, São Paulo. Organized by the Brazilian Water Polo League in partnership with the Brazilian Confederation of Aquatic Sports and the Brazilian Club Committee, the tournament features eight clubs: Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Tijuca Tênis Clube, Esporte Clube Pinheiros, Sociedade Hípica de Bauru, Associação Bauruense de Desportos Aquáticos, Instituto Rio Aquatics, Club Athletico Paulistano, and SESI.

The competition, held at the Associação Bauruense de Desportos Aquáticos headquarters, runs from October 30 to November 2. It aims to strengthen youth development and female water polo in Brazil.

Separately, the São Paulo Aquatic Federation (FAP) coordinated a large-scale weekend of events, including seven regional tournaments and a stage of the São Paulo Swimming Championship. The programming mobilized approximately 2,000 athletes and nearly 280 referees. FAP officials emphasized the importance of continuous training for officials to support the growing demands of the sport in the region.
