AQUILA to absorb Parmafood Group Distribution

AQUILA has approved the initiation of a merger by absorption of Parmafood Group Distribution, a company it acquired in April 2024. The move is intended to simplify the group's legal and administrative structure while maximizing commercial and operational synergies.

According to General Manager Cătălin Vasile, the merger aims to create a common structure to ensure maximum efficiency in commercial activities. The company stated that the process will not affect operational activities or existing relationships with clients and suppliers. The financial results of the absorbed entity will be fully reflected in the financial statements of AQUILA PART PROD COM S.A. starting January 1, 2027.

AQUILA has previously completed similar integration processes for Seca Distribution in 2019 and Agrirom in 2021.
