AQUILA to join FTSE Global All Cap indices as market cap exceeds 2.4 billion lei

AQUILA, a major consumer goods distributor in Romania and the surrounding region, will be included in the FTSE Global All Cap indices starting September 21, 2026. This inclusion follows a significant increase in the company's market capitalization, which has grown from approximately 1.1 billion lei to over 2.4 billion lei since its listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in 2021.

The move is expected to increase the company's visibility among international institutional investors. With this update, the number of Romanian issuers present in the FTSE Global All Cap index will reach ten. AQUILA's previous index inclusions include the BET index, FTSE Global Micro Cap, MSCI Frontier IMI, and MSCI Romania IMI.
