Aquismón, Mexico to Host Trail Rutas y Pueblos Mágicos Event July 18‑19

The State Government of San Luis Potosí, through the Instituto Potosino de Cultura Física y Deporte (Inpode), and the municipality of Aquismón announced the fifth edition of the Serial Trail Rutas y Pueblos Mágicos. The competition will be held on July 18 and 19, 2026, featuring courses of 3, 5, 10 and 21 kilometres that traverse rivers, springs and characteristic landscapes of the Huasteca Potosina.

Registrations require a fee of 450 pesos for the general public and 350 pesos for Aquismón residents, students and teachers. Participants will receive a commemorative shirt, a medal and on‑course hydration, with awards in several categories. The event aims to combine sport, nature and tourism promotion, encouraging athletes, families and visitors to explore the region while boosting local tourism and community opportunities.
