Ağrı inaugurates new infrastructure and industrial investments
Ağrı has inaugurated several major infrastructure and industrial investments aimed at strengthening the region's development. These projects include an asphalt plant with a production capacity of 260 tons per hour, a natural gas transmission facility for the Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), and a significantly expanded vehicle fleet for the Special Provincial Administration.
Governor Önder Bozkurt noted that these investments are crucial for supporting industrial activities and improving rural services. The Special Provincial Administration's fleet has been bolstered by approximately 30 to 40 new vehicles and heavy machines, including bulldozers, loaders, and graders, as well as fire trucks and emergency response vehicles.
These additions are intended to accelerate road construction, maintenance, and snow removal efforts, particularly in remote villages and high-altitude settlements where harsh winter conditions often pose challenges. The new asphalt plant will further support road repair and infrastructure projects throughout the province.
