AR Rahman to make acting debut in 'Moonwalk' this Diwali

The film 'Moonwalk', directed by Manoj NS and starring Prabhudeva, is scheduled for a Deepavali release this year. The project marks the acting debut of Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman, who will also serve as the film's music composer and appear in an extended cameo as an “angry young film director”.

Behindwoods Productions announced that the film aims to be a festive celebration blending comedy, music, and dance. The ensemble cast includes Yogi Babu, who is set to perform in 16 different roles, alongside Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, and others. The movie will see a multilingual release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

'Moonwalk' is expected to compete with Nitesh Tiwari's epic 'Ramayana', starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi. Several tracks from the film, including 'Yethu', 'Tinga', and 'Macarena', have already been released, with a fourth song featuring AR Rahman and Prabhudeva expected soon.
