Araçatuba Education Secretary Ana Paula Braga to step down

Ana Paula Braga is stepping down from her position as the head of the Araçatuba Municipal Education Secretariat after approximately 11 months in office. Mayor Lucas Zanatta has confirmed he has invited a successor to take over the leadership of the department. The administration aims to accelerate responses to the ongoing educational issues, which have recently sparked intense debate within the local government. During a recent session of the Araçatuba City Council, several council members expressed public indignation regarding the crisis, specifically citing the lack of educators at the EMEB José Machado Neto school.
