Arab and international currency rates against Egyptian Pound

Arab currency exchange rates against the Egyptian Pound showed slight fluctuations during late August 2026. The Kuwaiti Dinar remains the highest-valued Arab currency, trading at approximately 160.19 EGP for purchase and 164.85 EGP for sale.

Other regional currencies include the UAE Dirham at roughly 13.73 EGP (purchase) and 13.77 EGP (sale), and the Saudi Riyal, which saw an increase to 13.41 EGP (purchase) and 13.47 EGP (sale). The Qatari Riyal and Bahraini Dinar also maintain significant values against the Pound.

Regarding major international currencies, the US Dollar was recorded at approximately 50.65 EGP for purchase and 50.75 EGP for sale across several major institutions, including the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and CIB. The Euro was priced at an average of 58.61 EGP for purchase and 58.94 EGP for sale at the Central Bank of Egypt.
