Arab Media Summit 2026 announces GCC Secretary General and Euronews chairman as speakers
The Arab Media Summit 2026, scheduled for September 15–17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, has announced several high-profile participants. Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), will deliver a keynote address. His involvement is expected to bring a geopolitical dimension to discussions regarding regional cooperation and the evolving role of media in a changing international landscape.
Additionally, Pedro David, chairman of Euronews, will join the summit. His participation is intended to provide a European perspective on global media transformations, including changing audience behaviors and the impact of digital technology.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, emphasized that the media sector faces increased responsibility due to rapid global transformations. The summit will feature various specialized forums, including the Arab Media Forum, the Government Communication Forum, and the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit.
