Arab Music Festival clarifies performer lineup and participation rumors

The 34th edition of the Arab Music Festival, organized by the Egyptian Opera House, is addressing recent rumors regarding its performer lineup.

Management for singer Ehab Tawfik clarified that he will not participate in this year’s festival due to scheduling conflicts with previously agreed-upon artistic commitments. His management noted that while the festival offered two potential dates, they coincided with existing engagements.

Separately, Mohamed El Mougy, the director of the festival, dismissed rumors concerning singer Amal Maher’s participation. He confirmed that Maher is officially included in the lineup for the upcoming edition and stated that reports of a crisis regarding her involvement are unfounded.

The festival’s opening night will be dedicated to honoring artist Hany Shaker. The event features a diverse roster of performers, including Nadia Mostafa, Khaled Selim, and Ghada Ragab.
