Arab Music Festival continues with diverse performances in Egypt
The 34th edition of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, organized by the Cairo Opera House, continues its programming. This year's edition is named after the ‘Prince of Arabic Singing’ Hany Shaker.
Scheduled performances include concerts by Mohamed El Helou and Nadia Mostafa, as well as Khaled Selim and Hanin El Shater. These events feature various musical ensembles and guest performers from the Cairo Opera House. Simultaneously, the Arab Music Institute hosts performances by Syrian artist Waad Al-Bahri and the Takht Al-Arabi ensemble.
In addition to the main concerts, the festival includes a documentary screening titled ‘Musician of Renewal,’ which explores the career of the late composer Mohamed El Mougy. The festival also hosts the Dr. Ratiba El Hefni Arabic Singing Competition for youth aged 17 to 40, aimed at supporting emerging musical talent.
