Arab Union of Sports Journalism launches training program in Jeddah
The Arab Union of Sports Journalism is launching its first training program of the year, titled ‘Digital Content Creation,’ in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Scheduled from September 26 to 28, the program is organized in collaboration with the Saudi Sports Media Federation and the International Sports Press Association.
The training coincides with the start of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup. It aims to target over 500 male and female journalists from across the Arab world. The curriculum is divided into two main focuses: the first day covers transforming news into digital content, including idea generation, research, and scriptwriting; the second day focuses on mobile photography and short-form video production for digital platforms.
Participants can attend in person or virtually via Zoom. All attendees will receive official certificates accredited by the Arab Union of Sports Journalism, the Saudi Sports Media Federation, and the International Sports Press Association. Dr. Turki Al-Awad, President of the Arab Union of Sports Journalism, noted that the timing allows many journalists accompanying their national teams during the Gulf Cup to participate.
