Aracruz and Igrejinha allocate over R$7 million to new school and health unit
The municipality of Aracruz in Brazil will build a new Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil in Vila do Riacho, investing R$6.922 million. The school, constructed by Santos e Costa Engenharia Ltda., will serve up to 376 children in two shifts or 188 in full‑day mode, expanding early‑childhood education capacity in the city.
In the neighbouring state of Rio Grande do Sul, the town of Igrejinha received R$350,000 from the state government to expand and remodel the Estratégia Saúde da Família Acácias unit. The upgrades will add three medical and multiprofessional consulting rooms, an observation area, and a community space for preventive health activities, aiming to improve primary‑care services for local residents.
