Arad Museum of Art to host

The Arad Museum of Art, part of the Arad Museum Complex, is hosting the exhibition "Albastru" (Blue) at the Arad Cultural Palace. Curated by Raluca Ilaria Demetrescu, the exhibition is scheduled to open on Friday, August 14, 2026.

The collection features works by 42 Romanian and international artists, focusing on the various meanings and intensities of the color blue. The exhibition includes painting, sculpture, ceramics, and artistic objects. It utilizes glazed porcelain by artist Silvia Radu as a starting point to explore diverse chromatic resonances, ranging from marine and mineral themes to more melancholic or electric tones.

Previously presented at the Indigo Gallery in Bucharest, the exhibition has been reconfigured specifically for the "Depozitul de Artă" exhibition space to create new visual relationships between the works.
