ARAG SE holds fourth international day of free legal aid

The insurance group ARAG SE held its fourth international ARAG Day around September 25, providing free legal advice and information to individuals with limited access to qualified legal counsel.

In Germany, external lawyers provided consultations at four locations for customers of the Düsseldorfer Tafel e. V., including Garath, Hassels, Derendorf, and Gerresheim. Legal assistance was also extended to families associated with SOS-Kinderdorf in Düsseldorf, Duisburg, and Essen. Additionally, the initiative supported a joint action between Senioren-Rechtshilfe and the Mietrecht Law Clinic Köln, where students and experienced lawyers advised seniors and other interested parties on social, rental, and labor law.

Internationally, ARAG units participated with localized offerings, such as ARAG Italy collaborating with AIAS Verona to support people with disabilities.
