Aragón automotive sector recognized for innovation and sustainability

The eighth Noche de la Automoción, organized by the Aragón Automotive Cluster (CAAR), recently recognized excellence in innovation and sustainability within the regional automotive sector. Eva Valle, the Counselor for Economy, Employment, and Competitiveness of Aragón, highlighted the industry's strength in adapting to technological and energy revolutions through proactive innovation.

Key award recipients included ASAI Industrial for SME Innovation and Enganches Aragón for innovation in electric vehicle products. Moontech was honored for industrial process innovation via its ERIMS platform. Technopark was awarded the Business Sustainability Prize in the SME category for its Motostudent competition, an international initiative involving over 20,000 students and 450 university teams from more than 25 countries. Other honorees included Copo Zaragoza for corporate sustainability, and Stephan González of SMR Motherson was named Leader of the Year.
