The Government of Aragón has cancelled the Arabic language and Moroccan culture program across ten schools in the region. The decision follows a political agreement between the People's Party (PP) and Vox, which was a condition for the investiture of President Jorge Azcón.

Vox has defended the move as a fulfillment of electoral promises to prevent the Islamization of Spain. In contrast, school directors and critics have described the measure as ideological and discriminatory, noting that the program helped students maintain their cultural identity.

Carmen Susín, the regional education official, justified the cancellation by citing a lack of required documentation from the Ministry of Education regarding teaching staff. She stated the measure was necessary to ensure classroom security by verifying the professional status and criminal records of instructors.
