Aragón reports rise in student career guidance and announces book awards

The Xcelence ‘Aragón Empresas que Inspiran’ program has reported a 68% increase in professional orientation requests among students. Driven by the Government of Aragón, Fundación Ibercaja, and Fundación Bertelsmann, the initiative has seen 94 total requests from 39 educational institutions across Zaragoza, Huesca, and Teruel. To date, 53 companies have participated, providing 168 activities including workshops, talks, and educational stays to help youth navigate the evolving labor market.

Additionally, the Government of Aragón has announced the 2025 book awards. INO Reproducciones, a Zaragoza-based graphic arts company, received the Professional Trajectory Award for its 50 years of specialization in book printing. The award for best edited book in Aragón was granted to ‘No hay pudor en las confidencias’, a poetry collection by Gerardo Alquézar, illustrated by Jorge Gay and published by Asociación Gara D’Edizions.
