Aragon fills 27 permanent emergency physician positions

The Aragon Department of Health has announced the filling of 27 permanent positions for emergency and urgent care physicians. This recruitment follows a public employment offer covering the years 2022 through 2025.

Of the 27 selected doctors, 21 were appointed through the free turn and 6 through internal promotion. The positions are distributed across several centers, including 3 positions at the Coordination Center for Emergencies (CCU) in Zaragoza, 1 in the Zaragoza Management, and 4 within Advanced Life Support Services (SVA) across Huesca, Zaragoza, Sabiñánigo, and Teruel. Additionally, 19 positions have been assigned to Home Emergency Services (EDO) in Zaragoza.

This measure aims to strengthen the regional healthcare system and improve response times during periods of increased demand, although the region continues to face challenges regarding resource distribution and overall healthcare sustainability.
