Aragon government sets October 19 deadline for wildfire relief aid

The Government of Aragon has announced that the deadline for applying for wildfire relief funds will close on Monday, October 19. The aid program, totaling 3 million euros, is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and self-employed workers who suffered material damage or economic losses during this summer's wildfires.

Eligible applicants can receive up to 10,000 euros to cover various costs, including the repair of buildings and facilities, the purchase of new machinery or furniture, and the replacement of lost products and materials. The funds also cover cleaning expenses, such as ash and waste removal and decontamination. Additionally, the aid accounts for lost profits to compensate for the economic impact of business closures caused by the fires.
