Aragon Grand Prix organizers demand A-68 highway for growth

Organizers of the Aragon Grand Prix are calling for the urgent development of the A-68 highway to ensure the event's long-term growth and continuity. Local officials and championship leaders, including Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta, suggest that improved infrastructure could increase visitor attendance by 30% to 40%.

Currently, the Aragon circuit is only confirmed for one more edition before potentially returning to reserve circuit status in 2027. Regional leaders and the Mayor of Alcañiz, Miguel Ángel Estevan, emphasize that the highway is a historical demand essential for the social, economic, and sanitary development of the territory. Improving access is viewed as a prerequisite for securing Motorland's place on the future MotoGP calendar.
