Aragon hosts theater congress and Aragonese language symposium

The city of Barbastro is hosting the VI Congress of the Aragonese Federation of Amateur Theater (FATEA) and the V Aragonese Amateur Theater Showcase. Approximately 80 participants from across the Aragon region are attending the event, which runs from September 25 to September 27. The program includes theatrical performances, workshops, training sessions, and cultural activities held at the Barbastro Congress and Exhibition Center.

Separately, the town of Bielsa will host the first Chornatas de l’Aragonés from October 16 to 18. This initiative, organized by the Centro de Estudios de Sobrarbe, the Instituto de Estudios Altoaragoneses, and the Aragonese Language Academy, aims to create a space for reflection and exchange regarding the Aragonese language. The event will feature lectures, discussions, and activities related to cinema, literature, and music, involving specialists, writers, and editors.
