Aragon launches ‘Vuelta al Cole’ campaign to support local commerce

The Government of Aragon is launching the ‘Vuelta al Cole’ edition of its ‘Volveremos’ campaign, a program designed to support local commerce. Starting Wednesday, August 26, the initiative will operate across 71 municipalities.

Under the program, consumers can generate a 20% balance—split equally between regional and municipal contributions—at participating establishments every Wednesday and Friday, until the allocated funds for each locality are exhausted. The Government of Aragon is contributing 2 million euros, with local city councils providing a similar amount.

To improve user experience, the government has introduced ‘Bizum de Volveremos,’ a feature within the application that allows users to transfer balances between accounts within the app to avoid losing funds. The program has previously facilitated over 207,000 transactions totaling more than 21 million euros across 3,000 businesses.
