Aragon rolls out 93 new bus lines in Huesca as government advances Madrid-Zaragoza-Catalonia corridor with lower fares

The Government of Aragón has completed the new concession map for passenger road transport, launching 93 new bus lines in the province of Huesca. Of these, 55 lines belong to Lot 1, connecting Jacetania and Alto Gállego with Huesca and Zaragoza, and 38 lines belong to Lot 3, linking Fraga and Huesca via Monzón and Barbastro. At the presentation in the Plaza de Navarra in Huesca, attendees included the councillor of Fomento, Octavio López, the director general of Transportes, David Sánchez Fraile, along with the mayor of Huesca, Lorena Orduna, and other officials.

Separately, the central government approved the second bus corridor under the new concession map, detailing a Madrid–Zaragoza–Catalonia corridor that will include 13 routes connecting 47 municipalities across the provinces of Barcelona, Guadalajara, Huesca, Lleida, Madrid, Soria, Tarragona, and Zaragoza, with tariffs about 22.7% lower than current levels. This corridor follows the Bilbao-Castro Urdiales corridor approved in November, with the next corridor planned to be Madrid, as part of the ongoing map concessions update.
