Aragonese agri-food companies participate in SIAL Paris

Eleven companies and entities from the Aragonese agri-food sector are participating in the SIAL Paris international trade fair, held from October 17 to 21. The initiative is supported by the Government of Aragón through Aragón Exterior (AREX).

Participating entities include Arroz Brazal, Amanida, PMF Distribution, La Baturrica, Arruabarrena, and Foodibev International. Additionally, the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Jamón de Teruel and the Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) Cerdo de Teruel are making their debut at the event. The latter includes producers such as Airesano, Jamones Sierra Palomera, Grupo Arcoiris, and Jamones Pastor.

Javier Camo, the Director General of Internationalization for the Government of Aragón, stated that the fair serves as a global showcase where professionals from over 130 countries gather to make commercial decisions and finalize contracts. The participation is co-financed by FITE and FTJ funds from Teruel to promote the local economy and the diversity of the region's food products.
