Aragua health personnel receive mental health training
Frontline health personnel in the Tovar municipality of Aragua state have completed strategic training in mental health and emotional containment. The workshop aimed to provide technical tools to medical staff and those managing psychosocial support camps following contingencies experienced in June.
The training utilized the mhGAP protocol to reduce care gaps and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) SMAPS approach for crisis scenarios. The initiative was conducted under the guidelines of the Plan Venezuela Renace and supported by the Ministry of Popular Power for Health.
