The Aragua state delegation has been crowned the absolute champion of the 2026 National Youth and Elite Road Cycling Championship in Trujillo, Venezuela. The delegation secured a total of 13 medals, consisting of 7 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze.

Francisco Peñuela earned the gold medal in the Men's Elite Road category, while Samuel López secured bronze in the Sub-23 category. Other gold medalists included María Joaquina Sánchez (Youth Female), Lilibeth Chacón (Elite Female), and Jesús Goyo (Sub-23 Male) in various individual time trial events. The team's success extended to road races, with Joseny Céspedes, Lilibeth Chacón, and Francisco Peñuela also claiming top honors.
