Araguaína hosts Empreenda Mulher event for female entrepreneurs

The city of Araguaína is hosting the Empreenda Mulher event, a program promoted by the Araguaína City Hall through the Casa do Empreendedor and Sebrae Tocantins. The initiative features a keynote lecture by writer and speaker Cíntia Chagas titled “Como Cheguei Até Aqui – Empreendedorismo e Motivação,” focusing on professional trajectories and overcoming challenges.

The event is specifically designed to support female entrepreneurs, including micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs), small business representatives, rural producers, and artisans. Data indicates that women are responsible for 37.8% of the 12,091 active MEIs in Araguaína, with a significant concentration in the commerce sector.
