Araguaína hosts Sarau do Gil to celebrate MPB and regional culture

The “Sarau do Gil: MPB e Sons do Cerrado” event is scheduled to take place at Via Lago in Araguaína. Led by artist Gil Marcos, the cultural gathering focuses on Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) and the regional sounds of the Cerrado.

The project is supported by the National Aldir Blanc Law for Cultural Promotion (PNAB), executed through a partnership between the Araguaína City Hall and the Ministry of Culture. According to Municipal Secretary of Culture Edson Gallo, the initiative aims to strengthen local identity and support artists across various languages by bringing cultural production to accessible public spaces.
