Aral Simsir leads Süper Lig in big chances created for Trabzonspor

Aral Simsir has made a significant impact in the Turkish Süper Lig following his transfer from FC Midtjylland to Trabzonspor. In his first four matches, the 24-year-old offensive player has recorded five big goal chances created, placing him at the top of the league alongside Galatasaray’s Yunus Akgün.

Simsir recently recorded his first Süper Lig assist during Trabzonspor’s 5-0 victory over Genclerbirligi, providing the pass for Paul Onuachu’s opening goal in the fifth minute. Across 256 minutes of play, he has accumulated nine total chances created, averaging approximately 3.2 per 90 minutes.

Reflecting on his career, Simsir expressed deep emotional ties to his former club, FC Midtjylland, where he spent ten years and made 145 appearances. He stated that he would be 100 percent interested in returning to the Danish club in the future if circumstances allow.
