Arancha Santiago announces new flamenco-fusion EP ‘Quejío Herío’
Flamenco artist Arancha Santiago is returning to the music scene with her new EP, ‘Quejío Herío’. Born in the Sacromonte district of Granada, Santiago’s musical roots connect her to traditional figures such as Juan Maya Marote and Parrita.
The new project explores the five stages of grief—denial, anger, negotiation, depression, and acceptance—through a blend of pure flamenco, R&B, pop, and contemporary soul. The lead single, ‘Cruz y Luz’, focuses on the stage of anger and was composed in the summer of 2025.
