Authorities investigating a corruption case involving Volánbusz Zrt. have seized assets totaling approximately 3 billion forints. This includes real estate valued at 286.5 million forints and a vehicle worth over 6 million forints, alongside other secured assets worth 2.7 billion forints.

The Central Investigative Prosecutor's Office (KNYF) has identified six suspects in the ongoing investigation, which has been active for four and a half months. Two suspects, Dániel Jellinek (CEO of Indotek Group) and Norbert Szivek (former CEO of Magyar Nemzeti Vagyonkezelő Zrt.), are currently in custody.

In a related development, the Hungarian Parliament voted to suspend the immunity of MP Miklós Seszták. Prosecutors allege that between 2015 and 2018, Seszták and Szivek received more than 11 billion forints in unlawful advantages from companies contracting with Volánbusz. The investigation is being continued by the newly established National Asset Recovery and Asset Protection Agency.
