Arapiraca shooting and Porto Velho abuse allegations reported

In Arapiraca, Alagoas, a shooting incident and subsequent police confrontation left four people injured. The event began when two men were pursued and shot by masked individuals in a white vehicle. Following the attack, Military Police tracked the suspects to a motel in the Jardim Esperança neighborhood. A shootout occurred during the police entry, resulting in two suspects being wounded. Police seized two firearms, drugs, and the vehicle used in the attack. Two other suspects were arrested.

In Porto Velho, Rondônia, Aluizio Vidal Flor, a 58-year-old pastor and psychologist, has been denounced by 12 women for sexual crimes. The allegations suggest the abuses occurred over approximately 20 years, often during psychological counseling sessions. The investigation gained momentum after one victim reported the abuse to the Public Ministry of Rondônia, prompting other women to come forward. Flor has been in custody since September.
