Arapongas police seize abandoned .357 Magnum revolver

A .357 caliber Magnum revolver was seized by the Military Police on Saturday morning after being found abandoned in a vacant lot along the PR-444 highway in the rural area of Arapongas.

A local resident discovered the weapon and alerted authorities. Upon inspection, officers noted the firearm was in poor condition with significant signs of deterioration and wear, which prevented the identification of its serial number.

The weapon has been turned over to the 22nd Police Subdivision (SDP) of Arapongas. The Civil Police intend to request a forensic examination to determine the origin of the revolver and investigate whether it was used in recent criminal activities in the region.
