Araraquara officials address municipal service and health infrastructure
Various municipal issues in Araraquara are being addressed following inquiries from local council members. Regarding public utilities, Councilwoman Fabi Virgílio has requested that the Autonomous Department of Water and Sewage (Daae) improve in-person service to prevent citizens from being forced into long-term scheduling for essential services like water supply and leak repairs.
In the healthcare sector, several infrastructure and service improvements are underway. At the Monte Alegre III Family Health Unit (USF), Orcon Engenharia e Perfurações Ltda will replace damaged roof elements in October to improve aesthetics and conservation, though structural stability is not compromised. Additionally, the Municipal Health Secretariat reported that previous connectivity issues involving internet and telephone signals at the same unit have been resolved through new equipment and Wi-Fi configuration.
Regarding the Jardim América Health Center, the municipal administration responded to inquiries from Councilman Alcindo Sabino concerning equipment maintenance. The city provided a status report on IT resources across its 37 health units, noting that the Jardim América center currently has sufficient functioning computers for its workflow and no pending requests for IT maintenance.
